Acceptable File Formats
When submitting artwork we suggest using one of the following file formats:
.ai (Adobe Illustator)
.eps (encapsulated post script)
.psd (Adobe Photoshop)
.pdf (portable document format)
Here are a few steps to help you properly prepare your art files:
- Prepare files in CMYK.
- Leave all files in layers for easy color separation.
- Rasterize or outline all fonts.
- Save at 300dpi.
- Submit all artwork files at the actual size you want them printed or embroidered. This avoids any confusion when it comes to the finished size of your print or embroidery.
- When saving your files please name the file with your company name so it can easily be identified as yours. Example: companyname_logoname.eps
Color Management
When managing your colors we use Pantone TPX numbers to ensure your exact requirements are met. This numbering system is similar to Pantone PMS numbers. However, Pantone TPX numbers are the international color numbering system used for printing and dyeing of textiles.
Submitting Files
Please email all artwork and order details directly to your sales representative. For larger files we suggest dropping them on our ftp server. If you do not have a user name and password for our server, email: design@thinktankind.com with FTP in the subject line. We will send a reply with your account space set-up and all the required login information.
