1//Collecting & Organizing Specific Details
We work with our clients to gather every fine detail regarding each order. If you have all your exact specifications, we have simple spec sheets to keep all the details organized. We also offer garment templates and consultation to help you build all the details regarding fabrics, cuts, size spec measurements, embellishments, labeling, packaging, etc…
2//Sampling Your Garment
When all your order details are set we can move forward to do a finished sample. ThinkTank understands the clothing market and focuses on excellent communication. Understanding the feel/vibe of what is being manufactured is a priority. When we produce your sample we can also send along additional fabric swatches or lap dips for color testing. A small sampling fee is required since we will be setting up your order for production. We will produce a few pieces of your of your garment using exact fabric, labels and will be setting up screens for printing or digitizing for embroidery. Sampling fees are applied as a credit towards your order, so if production is ran on the sample there are no sample fees.
3//Deposit Payment to Begin Production
Once you have received the sample and approved all of the details, we can confirm all requirements have been met and can begin the production process of your order. First time orders require a 30% deposit to begin. After we receive your deposit yarn is purchased and we begin making your fabric. Acceptable forms of payment include: certified check, money order, bank transfer, paypal, or credit card. (paypal and credit card payments may have additional service fees)
4//Production Process
On average production turnaround time is about 25 days. Production time varies based on factory schedules, the specific type of garments being produced, and total quantities. Orders with special requirements such as performance fabrics or unique fibers may require more time. Something common like cotton t-shirts or fitted hats usually take about 25 days.
5//Packaging Your Finished Product & Final Payment
We have many packaging options available for your finished products. Everything from hangtags, folding, poly bagging, to boxing can be done. When production is completed we will take detailed photos and compile a production report covering the process and final finished products. After sending out a production report regarding the completion of your order, the final 70% payment will be required before shipment.
6//Shipping Your Order
Orders can ship by sea or air based on delivery time and budget. For smaller orders of 300-500 pieces air shipping is economical. Air shipments are sent DHL with 5-7 day shipping time from our factory to your door. Average air shipping cost is around $3.50/lb. This price decreases as shipment weight increases. Sea transport time varies among carriers, with shipments to L.A. and Australia at sea on an average of 15 days. Orders to Rotterdam take around 25 days. We can handle shipping your order to your local port, or we can provide quotes based on FOB pricing and you may handle shipping arrangements.
